The Cuirim House is modeled after the Celtic Monastic tradition. Where people come together in the pursuit of intimacy with Jesus spend their days in prayer, study and work. The Work is serving the poor, as Jesus said the least of these. There is a wonderful partnership between the work of this center and the local Mexican pastors.

In Cyprus we were working with two other Antioch Network families. We were working among Muslims who were living in North Cyprus. The vision is to make disciples of those living in Cyprus, to train and send them out all along the Silk Road to reach their fellow Turkish brothers and sisters. The Silk Road extends from China all the way down to southeast Europe. There are over 100,000 million Turkish people living in these areas who don’t know Jesus.

A few weeks after the Tsunami devastated many parts of the world in December 2004. Three of us on staff with Antioch Network headed over to India with a medical team to help bring relief and comfort. During this time we also focused on the Dalits, people that make up the lowest caste system in India. They are not allowed an education and are severely persecuted. The Dalits were often not counted among the dead and were not given medical treatment or supplies because of widespread persecution and attitude that they are less than human.

This is a photograph of the famous Mostar Bridge that was recently rebuilt after being destroyed during the war. We have particpated in this work with our local church in Bosnia. The work has spanned the past 10 years for Ryan and the past 4 years for both of us. The ministry began as relief and humanitarian work to the many suffering people in this war-torn country. It developed into a church planting initiative that is inovolved in the development of national leaders, offering support and care to the leaders of the Bosnian Church.
